詹詠然和庫柏特第一盤被對手取得4個破發點，但全都順利化解。兩人在第8局順利破發取得5:3領先，隨後6:3先搶下首盤。次盤詹詠然、庫柏特第一局就突破薩維爾和嘉芙里洛娃的發球局，結果在第6局被對手回破。隨後雙方第7、第8局互破後，詹詠然和庫柏特在關鍵第11局破發取得6:5領先，最後穩住發球局7:5拿下次盤首住勝利。

目前在澳網台將已經在單雙打賽程全部吞敗，詹詠然和妹妹詹皓晴的混雙賽程，為最後的台將希望。
